Home Organization Products I Love

Updated: Mar 1

A home office has become the hub of Coronavirus lockdowns.

Corporate zooms while in pajama pants, wine disguised as tea, and the video chat fails!

The kids all the sudden had to find a spot to learn, free of all the amazing distractions home sweet home has to offer.

A select few, myself included, were able to set aside a space for all things work (and school) from home.

I am by no means a wealthy woman, and these products fit in well with my means while serving a valuable purpose.

Rolling Storage Cart

This cart has been one of my favorite additions to my home office. She has held many items from crafting supplies to school supplies, and also a lot of random odds and ends. The reviews on Amazon are SUPER informative and gave me so many ideas.

The best part about this particular model is that it snapped together. I didn't need a single tool to get the bad boy put together and in business.

I keep mine tucked underneath my standing desk at home. Some of my favorite ideas from Amazon were:

  • Diaper cart

  • Salon/beauty organizer

  • Art Cart

  • School Cart

  • Gardening

Do you have any ideas as to what you would use one for?

Wall Mounted Desks

My next favorite home organization item are these wall-mount desks we got for the girls. Once they are back in school full time, I think we will probably re-install them in their room as vanities, or relocate them to my office/craft room.

An important factor to consider when purchasing an item like this is the weight of the desk, and how it will hold up over time and abuse. We were especially concerned because the girls were so young and we knew they would not consider the wall that would be holding it up. I recommend getting a good set of heavy duty wall anchors for the occasion, just to be safe.

One of my all time best covid at home purchases was this amazing bookshelf. it was the organization item we never knew we needed. I may be a sucker for cube storage... its just so compartmental. I love it.

Ours holds most of the books we own, a few decorative baskets with school/office/art supplies, and a specific shelf for each of the girls personal school items.

There were even 2 shelves left over for us to put some board games in! I am so happy with this purchase!

Thank you so much for reading!

How did you make today special?
